The Burmese Cat is one of the most popular pedigree shorthair breeds in Australia and it is certainly with good reason. The Burmese Cat is an affectionate, intelligent, inquisitive and loyal breed that is well suited to an indoor home. They are an ideal companion for children as they are playful, energetic and laid back. Burmese are a slim, athletic and well muscled cat and are often described as a brick wrapped in silk as they are decievingly heavy. They have a wonderful silky coat and require minimal grooming, some have been trained to fetch and are the dogs of the cat world.
Most breeders agree that Burmese Cats today were originally derived from a brown female Wong Mau, imported from Burma in the 1930's, which was mated to a Siamese then the progeny mated back. The burmese has been a recognised breed in Australia since the 1950's and 60's.
A burmese loves nothing better than sleeping on it's owner's lap, they enjoy company and hate to be alone for extended periods. If you are away from home often you may consider getting two kittens together.
We are a small cattery located near Shepparton, Victoria. Our Burmese are part of our family and are treated as such. We have two small children and so our fur family are well socialized and have great temperament.
Our aim is to provide the very best quality kittens for pet and show. We breed for health, temperament and type. All kittens are raised indoors in a family environment, so that they are used to daily houselife before they leave for their new homes. They are continually showered with love and attention.
As you can see our cats live in very comfortable accommodation when not inside with us. Our Cattery is kept to the highest standards and is in line with the DPI Code of Practice for the Operation of Breeding and Rearing Establishments. Our cattery is fully tiled and has a double roof to maximise coolness for the hotter months. Cats are also provided with heated mats in the cooler months for warmth. All rooms are multilevel and are equipt with scratching posts and climbing towers.
We have male and female kittens available at the moment in chocolate tortie, red, and chocolate.

The advantages of buying from a registered breeder are many. Not only do you get exactly what you are paying for, but its health and genetics are guaranteed.
Many sites offer kittens that are purebred (not registered), undesexed, unvaccinted and not microchipped for much the same price. These breeders are backyard breeders only looking for a quick dollar. We spend much of our time and money to guarantee that you are getting a healthy, well socalised, even temperamented kitten that looks and feels like a burmese and is exactly that. Why pay top dollar for a kitten who's parentage and upbringing is questionable at best??
We can freight kittens/ cats interstate at the buyers expense. We use Dogtainers and find them to be reliable and very well priced.
